融资 Options for Part-Time and Online Students

We know that there are many factors to consider in the college selection process, not the least of which is the financial investment you are soon to make. We realize this investment in your future requires careful planning.

Matriculated (degree-seeking) students taking at least six credits a term may be eligible for federal and state aid. However, students in certain certificate programs and non-matriculated students are not eligible for financial aid. There may be alternative financing options that part-time students can utilize, such as payment plans or private education loans.

无论您的财务状况如何,我们都鼓励您浏览以下链接,以便您可以更轻松地浏览经济援助流程。 All of the information below and more for part-time students is available from Drexel Central, the University's one-stop for the Offices of the Bursar, Financial Aid, and Registrar.

Cost of Attendance

The cost of attendance is an estimate based upon your program, major, and the number of terms for which you enroll. It includes the per-credit cost of tuition, University fees, and other expenses, such as books, course materials, supplies, and equipment, a computer, transportation, and miscellaneous personal expenses.

To view more information about costs, visit Drexel Central's Undergraduate Tuition and Fees page.

How to Apply for Aid

U.S. citizens in a matriculated program should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to be considered for federal and state aid. Get tips on how to complete the FAFSA online, check your financial aid status, and more.

Financial Aid Awards and Alternative 融资 Options

There are a number of financial aid options for veterans. Learn about educational benefits for veterans and Drexel's Veterans Award.

Students who are enrolled at least part-time each term may be eligible for a Pell Grant (FAFSA required). Pennsylvania residents may also be eligible for a PA state grant. Learn more about possible federal and state grant opportunities.

You may be eligible for a specialized scholarship or grant from an outside organization. Some sources to explore include employers, unions, professional organizations, and community and special-interest groups. View a list of recommended free scholarship search engines.

Drexel offers a monthly installment payment plan for part-time students for each term of attendance. The plan allows you to make monthly payments for a portion or all of your balance due for a given term. Each payment plan requires an application fee. View payment plan schedules and learn more.

Drexel University's Employer Reimbursement Plan is designed for students whose employers offer reimbursement for tuition charges. It allows part-time students to defer their tuition payments to Drexel until 30 days after the term has been completed. There is a nonrefundable application fee for this service. The plan is available term by term. Get more information or download an application about the Employer Reimbursement Plan.

Part-time students may be eligible to utilize private education loans to help finance their education. Drexel recommends that students consider all other options before applying for private loans. Review more information about these opportunities.
