If there were an emergency, this website would be updated frequently with instructions
and information about the incident, campus services and resources available to the
Coahoma community. Information is also will be made available via Coahoma Connections.
In an emergency that requires immediate help from police, fire fighters or medical
technicians, call 911. You can also text “CCCTip” followed by your message to 67283
to report an emergency, crime or suspicious activity.
All members of the Coahoma community should take steps to ensure their own safety
and the safety of others in an emergency. Know your role in an emergency and update
your contact information with the college.
If you or a friend needs assistance with a personal issue, seek help. Students, employees,
and faculty can call Counseling Service at rsanford@coahomacc.edu or (662) 621-4858.
The Department of Safety can be contacted in all cases of emergencies at (662) 621-4175
(office) and after hours (662) 645-1837. The department is located in the Dickerson-Johnson
Library (1st floor). Officers are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
