1. The Innovation Studio
The College of Engineering’s Innovation Studio at Drexel brings students from all disciplines together in a shared flow through space to collaborate on projects and transition their ideas into reality. In addition to the machine shop, which contains heavy machinery for advanced manufacturing of metal parts, there are woodworking equipment and 3D printers for students to work together and transform an idea into a fabricated, finished, and marketable product. This studio offers our faculty a different way to teach and our students a unique way of learning — by doing and creating.

2. Biodiversity, Earth, and Environmental Science
Drexel’s Biodiversity, Earth, and Environmental Science (BEES) department believes in field experience early and often. Students support sustainable means through many opportunities, including harvesting bees right on campus with the Urban Growers and gardening for a farm-to-table class.

3. Product Design Program
Our product design students constantly create and improve new and existing products in the URBN Center. Glasses that make you happier and a respiratory inhaler seamlessly synced to a smartphone app are just a few of the latest student innovations.

4. ExCITe Center
The Expressive and Creative Interaction Technologies (ExCITe) Center believes that everyone has the potential to be creative and be an innovator. The Center unites design, technology, and entrepreneurship in many forms, but especially in the App Lab. Students learn the power of smartphone applications with the ability to create, design, and test them in a multidisciplinary environment.

5. Baiada Institute
Entrepreneurship students automatically receive a space here and up to $19,000 in scholarship while on entrepreneurial co-op.

6. Westphal Annual Fashion Show
Fashion students present their original styles on models during the annual Fashion Show each year. Seniors are proud to share their capstone fashion lines on the runway, and design students show their class projects. High-end designers also select scholarship winners who are spotlighted on the runway.

7. Behavioral Lab
The Behavioral Lab, located on the lower level of Gerri C. LeBow Hall, is a research facility for business-related topics. The Lab allows for test-subject privacy when conducting studies, along with flexibility to easily customize the space and settings according to the researcher’s needs.

8. World's Largest Videogame Project
One of the opportunities Drexel game design students took part in was programming the Circa Centre skyscraper for larger-than-life games of Tetris. Just blocks away from campus, this huge project was a spectacle for the entire city to see and play.

9. Gait Lab
The Gait Lab, which is part of the College of Nursing and Health Professions, houses technology used for medicinal purposes. For instance, the motion-camera system allows study of athletes for tracking and treating overuse running injuries.
