握手
We understand how important the job search is to our graduating seniors and alumni. That is why we want to help with the process. Whether you are just beginning your job search or it's already underway, 握手 will be your resource to review and apply for full- and part-time positions!
握手 is a job board filled with full-time positions posted by employers interested in you. With 握手, you can easily access a large pool of employers, their job postings, and events as well as networking and professional development features — all right at your fingertips. Check out 握手 today.
Benefits of 握手
握手 connects you to over 750,000 easily searchable employers, including all current Fortune 500 companies. Not only will you have access to job postings from each of these employers, but they can find and message you directly based on information in your 握手 Profile and Career Interests section.
Through this world-class resource, job seekers can research companies, read reviews, attend employer-hosted events, and message others that have worked at companies of interest for insights. 握手 is not just a job board but is a means to build your professional network.
Gaining Access to 握手
If you are an incoming student, your 握手 access will be granted during the first term you are enrolled. At this point you will be able to access the platform. We cannot grant 握手 access prior to that time. Until then, you are welcome to access the other resources available on our website. We look forward to meeting you!
If you are a current student, you should have received login information via email. You can also gain access to 握手 by doing the following: Once you are on Drexel's 握手 page, select "Drexel University - Student Login" under Drexel's logo to get started and complete your profile. If you have any questions about how to access this resource, email scdc@drexel.edu.
If you are an alumnus seeking to access 握手, you can register for a 握手 account and complete your profile to make the best impression. When you log in to 握手, don't use the Single Sign On (SSO) option because that will take you to Drexel Connect, which you no longer have access to. Instead, select "sign in with your email address," and refer to these 握手 instructions for assistance. A team member from the Steinbright Career Development Center will approve your alumni request.
Completing Your Profile
Completing your profile allows 握手 to tailor which opportunities it shows you, and helps you make the most of the platform. Basic profile information, including your college, major, and GPA, will automatically sync from your Drexel account.
Consider updating the following sections to complete your profile:
- My Profile – Tell employers about your work and volunteer experience, activities, courses, skills, and projects – 握手 even gives you the option to build this section from your résumé, once uploaded.
- Documents – Upload your résumé and cover letters.
- Career Interests – Let employers know what types of opportunities you are looking for.
- Notifications – Change how frequently or infrequently 握手 contacts you.
- Settings and Privacy – We recommend you set your profile to "Community" so it is visible to employers, students, and alumni.

Employer Policy

Red Flags: How to Identify a Potentially Fraudulent Employer or Posting
The Steinbright Career Development Center explicitly makes no guarantees about job listings or the accuracy of the information provided by employers. While the Steinbright Career Development Center strives to keep fraudulent and scam postings off 握手 via a vetting process, it is the responsibility of students to perform due diligence in researching employers when applying for or accepting off-campus employment and to thoroughly research the facts and reputation of each organization to which they are applying.
If you have encountered a fraudulent posting, company or organization, please contact Steinbright at 215.895.2185 or email scdc@drexel.edu so the posting can be investigated and appropriate action can be taken. To avoid fraudulent job postings, 握手 has tips to ensure you know what to look out for.
