Access to the required online safety training modules is found in the BioRaft platform. Training is required for all individuals working or learning in university laboratories and clinical/medical operations. The training platform can be accessed by going to drexel.bioraft.com. You can log into the system using your Drexel credentials.
Laboratory 安全
Laboratory safety is of paramount importance to Environmental Health & 安全, which manages and responds to all issues and concerns surrounding chemical, biological, radiation, laser, chemical fume hood, and centrifuge safety as well as biological safety cabinets, compressed gas cylinders, nanotechnology, emergency spill response, hazardous waste management and other standard operating procedures.

Biosafety
The Drexel University Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) provides guidance to all faculty, professional staff and students who wish to conduct research and teaching activities involving biological hazards such as recombinant DNA (as defined by the National Institutes of Health guidelines), pathogenic organisms, human/primate samples, chemical carcinogens and cytotoxic agents.
Radiation 安全
At Drexel University radiation and radioactive materials may be used for education, scientific research and medical diagnosis. The Radiation 安全 Office at Drexel University is responsible for managing the beneficial uses of radiation and radioactive material while protecting our students, patients, visitors, faculty and professional staff from potential hazards as well as assuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
