Organized by Americans for the Arts, the nation's leading nonprofit organization for advancing the arts in America, Arts Advocacy Day is a national arts action summit where arts professionals gather from around the country on Capitol Hill to urge U.S. representatives to support federal funding of the arts. Students engage with their local legislators and are provided the chance to see some of America’s most passionate cultural activists and leaders.
