Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology Master’s Scholarship

The Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at Drexel University College of Medicine awards scholarships to help defray tuition expense. This scholarship is open to incoming master’s students in eligible, department-affiliated programs. It is designed for those who have exhibited exceptional academic performance. A GPA of 3.3 or above is required for consideration.

Scholarships will be awarded after a holistic review of the student’s potential for academic achievement, along with their application packet, including (but not limited to) grades, recommendation letters and written statement.

Eligible department-affiliated programs include:

During their first year, scholarship recipients will receive a $2,500 tuition credit on their eBill (bursar’s account). If the student remains in good academic standing, retaining a 3.0 GPA or higher during their first year of the program, a $2,500 tuition credit will be made available during year two. Scholarships will be applied to the student’s eBill soon after course registration; $1,250 in the fall semester and $1,250 in the spring semester.

Deadlines

Nominations are reviewed on a rolling basis over three rounds with the following deadlines:

  • March 31 by 5 p.m. ET
  • April 30 by 5 p.m. ET
  • May 31 by 5 p.m. ET
