DREXEL APPLIED INNOVATION PROVIDES TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER SERVICES TO EXPAND THE IMPACT OF DREXEL RESEARCH

• Protect Drexel discoveries and innovation through patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets and develop timely and high-quality contracts and agreements to support tech transfer, licensing, and industry sponsored research.
• Identify and cultivate industry and investor relationships based on Applied Innovation’s portfolio of licensable technologies.
• Create opportunities for the Drexel research community to gain insight into industry’s unmet needs and innovation challenges which can be incorporated into current and future research.
• Support current and future startup founders aiming to commercialize Drexel research & technology assets with licensing support as well as connections to translational funding programs and entrepreneurial training resources.

Working closely with Drexel’s senior leadership and collaborating with other University programs and resources, the Applied Innovation team helps support and develop the University’s innovation ecosystem.
